Dr Mowat is a consultant gastroenterologist at the top of his field. He treated me with respect and dignity, listened to my symptoms then gave a straight, frank and direct analysis and recommendation for future intervention. His professionalism throughout and the subsequent procedure was outstanding and he answered all of my questions to my full satisfaction. Overall my experiences with this consultant have been outstanding and I would have no hesitation in putting my life in his capable hands.

Dr Craig was very friendly. He made me feel heard and made me feel calm during my examination. He also patiently listened to all my symptoms without being dismissive. Would definitely recommen.

I have had contact with Dr Mowat for a number of years due to an Inflammatory Bowel condition. I have always found Dr Mowat to be excellent at communicating with me about my care in a manner which is easy to understand. Explanations are readily given for decisions made re medication changes I have had to have and medical procedures required to check my condition is in check.
Dr Mowat has a genuine interest in his patients and has provided me with a first class service.
I feel in very safe and competent hands with Dr Mowat.

You're patient, caring and take time to explain to your patients what their situation is and how you can fix it. In my situation you done an amazing fix. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with stomach and bowel symptoms. For some, these symptoms can be very disabling and difficult to talk about. I aim to put patients at ease so they feel able to describe their problems with the goal of determining the most appropriate investigations and treatments as swiftly as possible. I have a special interest in irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and the early detection of bowel cancer.
